common problems / frequently asked questions

Q1. Can it be used when the wind is strong?  Will the umbrella be blown away?
Do not use it if the gust of wind reaches level 6 or above. (Explanation of level 6 wind: it is difficult to open an umbrella, the big branches are shaking, and the wires are blown whistling.)  It is recommended to use in breezy below level 5 wind. (Explanation of level 5 wind: Small trees with leaves are swaying, small ripples on the surface of the pond.)


Q2. Is it necessary to use the car side table?  How is it different from the regular camping table?
Between the side table and the pole, there is an urgent locking design.
Cars or pickup trucks must be equipped with a car side table to ensure safe use.
For SUVs or touring models can be used without car side tables.  In this mode, the bracket and the safety latch must be installed to ensure safe use.


Q3. What is the length of the parasol in the film?  Do I need to recline the back seat of the car?
The length is about 150 cm, and it can be placed obliquely in the rear luggage compartment of RAV4.  You can choose a 6-foot umbrellaor a 7-foot umbrella according to the space in your car's luggage .


Q4. How heavy is the whole kit?  How many kilograms can it bear?
The hold kit and car side table are lightweight, with a total weight of about 10 kg.  The car side table can bear an average load of 30 kg.


Q5. Are there any restrictions on the space I can use?
Vehicles need to be parked in legal places, and when the kits are used, they should not endanger other people's parking rights. (In general parking lots, you cannot use table umbrellas on the ground!)


Q6. How to use the latches to lock your own umbrella poles and camp posts (bracket mode)?
Need be in the corresponding position of the umbrella pole or camp column, processing drilling to use the pin.  Drilling metal poles is dangerous.  It is recommended to ask a professional manufacturer for construction.

Stanley Tai, a former licensed pharmacist, usually stays in the pharmacy, and only goes out to bask in the sun on holidays.
He is used to a comfortable and unrestrained life, he likes to taste delicious food from all over the world.  For leisure, sometimes it is simple, sometimes a sense of ritual is required.

"How to insert a big parasol on the car without destroying the car body?"  This was an idea first proposed by Stanley, who is a pickup truck owner.  This is indeed an interesting requirement.

Together with David, an engineer, the brothers built a small studio and confirmed the feasibility of the idea, starting with woodworking prototypes.

"Can it be mass-produced?"  Then choose materials, find cooperative manufacturers, and improve the deficiencies in the original design.

Along the way, I have received many valuable advice and help from friends and advanced industry leaders.
Let this starting point of the slash come true.
